Poetic Bloomings “In-Form Poet Wednesday”: Rhupunt

It’s “In-Form Poet Wednesday” at Poetic Bloomings.  This week the poetic form is another one new to me: the Rhupunt.  The poem’s structure and syllable count can be found at The Poets Garret. It’s an interesting form and fun to try, but it’s not as easy as it looks.  My first Rhupunt is based on a recent accusation made about me and my addiction to my cell phone.  I’d deny it if it wasn’t true.

People walking, voices squawking, always talking, glued to their phones.
Endless chatter, senseless patter. Eardrums shatter from vapid tones.
