On November 15, 16 and 17, I took a last minute trip to Williamsburg, Virginia. I’m trying to catch up on the three missed challenges, so here is my late post for the Poetic Asides November 2013 Poem-A-Day Challenge – Day 17: an “element” poem
in soft, shimmering splashes
off the shoulders of a mountain
to shallow pools below.
obscure the sun,
temperatures quickly drop,
the wet shoulders of a mountain
wearing an icy shawl.
