The Seasons Hope

The Seasons Hope

Autumn
is gone through the
blue woodlands bare, vibrant hues
a memory in wintry blasts
of what was and will be.

Leaves have
crumbled and gone
to mix with old grass and dirt,
a mulch to encourage rebirth
when life begins anew.

Today
might well be bleak,
but the recurring cycle
assures us within tomorrow
lies a measure of hope.
