All In A Day's Work

A tangerine sphere
peeking through blinds paints the wall
with gentle brush strokes.

Sunrise to sunset,
reddish yellow and soft pink
complete the canvas.

Written for Day 1 of the Poetic Asides April PAD Challenge: write a beginning, an ending or both poem. After dealing with the lingering effects of a nasty flu, this is my first poem in over two weeks. Feels good to be back at the computer!
