Portals into other places
seal their doors from prying faces,
fastened so no one continues.
Daring mortals have no sinews
great enough to force their presence
through an otherworldly essence.

Going a little sci-fi with today’s poem for my Poetry Dazed Project 2015. Either I’m mourning the loss of Leonard Nimoy or this Winter Of Our Discontent has taken its toll on my brain.
